Desired Constellation

The Desired Constellation (also known as theroyalus on Livejournal, 1ff on tumblr, theDC on Patreon) is a multiple system who create lots of multimedia art, including the Autonomancy Tarot (2017, August) and Dyscalculia: the social math of multiplicity (2010).

In their own words, they are "a two-handed artist collective. Diagnosed in 2008 with Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly known as Multiple Personality Disorder), our group has rejected the psychiatric label in favour of a newer, self-empowered approach to multiplicity. Each of us is a whole, empowered being co-existing in our shared life. Five of us are visual artists: Nathan Day, Prog, One Faraday, Ian Night, and Ronin Ellis. We are struggling together to create a career for ourselves" (Unknown Date).

Trivia

"As far as I'm aware, I am the first multiple artist to have my artwork taken to space." It was a painting of their cat. (2017, December).
